The AustralianSuper Monash University Retirement Confidence Index (RCI) is an annual survey that looks to gain an in-depth understanding of Australians’ thoughts, behaviours and feelings as they approach or experience retirement.
The Retirement Confidence Index is the first study of its kind - commencing in 2017 and set to continue until 2026 – and in 2022 it found that the average retirement confidence score was66 out of 100,a score which considers the following factors:

2. Health and wellbeing
3. Social factors
4. Retirement awareness and planning
